Standard construction unless specified is one-piece, gold plated beryllium copper conductor and hook per MIL G45204. Body and plunger are molded of durable nylon. Stainless steel compression coil spring provides good contact pressure.

E-Z-Hook offers several modified versions of the basic X100W mini-hook:
X100WX - Molded using mineral reinforced nylon. Part is capable of withstanding a maximum temperature of 150°C(300°F) over short time cycles, and a maximum temperature of 122°C(250°F) over extended periods of time. For additional temperature requirements please contact factory.
X100WA - Modified plunger has an enlarged lead exit hole that accepts heavy gauge lead wire.
X100W-NM - Non-magnetic spring provided to limit risk in magnetic-free environments. Variations: X100WA-NM
X100W2 - Modified rectangular tip provides for connection over wire wrapped pins or connections that require more support at point of contact. Variations: X100W2A, X100W2-NM, X100W2A-NM

| Mini-hook test connector with a stronger, thicker, more durable hook. Modified rectangular tip is only variation to basic X100W body. The mid-size XR hook bridges the gap between the general purpose X100W and the macro-hook XH model.

XR25 - A .025" square pin conductor is accessible through the lead exit hole on the plunger. The .025" square pin is designed for easy snap-on connection to a .025" (.635mm) square or .030" (.762mm) round push-on type connector. Variations: XR25-NM
XRA - Modified plunger with enlarged lead exit hole accepts heavy gauge lead wire.
XR-NM - Non-Magnetic spring to limit risk in magnetic-free environments. Variations: XRA-NM
